From Coach Gallistel and Dr. Edwards: Boys soccer finished their season Saturday at the conference tournament. JV played Charbluff in the semifinals winning that game and advancing to the championship game against Fairview. It was a close game ending in overtime and then a penalty kick shoot off. JV came up one PK short and are the conference runner up team. Varsity played Cheatham Middle in the semi-finals winning that game also advancing to play Fairview in the Championship game. Our Varsity played a good game but came up short in the end. They are also the conference runner up team. The coaches are very proud of their season and performance in the tournament!

From the Football Coaches: Just a reminder that Spring Football Practice begins tomorrow at HMS! All participating players must have a physical on file in order to participate. You do not have to have attended the interest meeting last week to begin practice tomorrow, but you must have the required physical. Just a reminder that only currently 6TH AND 7TH GRADE STUDENTS MAY PARTICIAPTE IN SPRING PRACTICE. Current 5th grade students will be eligible to play in the fall, but per TSSAA rules, 5th grade students may not participate with a middle school team until the end of the 5th grade school year.
