HMS Update for the week of Jan. 7

Hello HMS Parents: We will return with regular newsletters starting next Sunday. Just a reminder that school resumes this Tuesday for all CCSD students. 5th and 6th grade students will report to the gym upon arrival per their normal Tuesday morning routine. Thanks everyone and I hope you all had a fantastic break! Just a few quick announcements from our staff: The 6th grade team will host the 1st annual Father/ Daughter “Snow Ball” dance on January 25, from 6-8:30 in the HMS common area. Tickets will be sold at the door for $5 a person. Deserts will be complimentary and drinks will be available for $1. A complimentary photo booth will also be set up. We are excited to begin this new tradition at HMS! Home Basketball Games this week: Monday, Jan. 7th vs. Spring Hill, JV Girls start at 4:00 followed by JV Boys, Varsity Girls, Varsity Boys Tuesday, Jan. 8th vs. Sycamore, 1st game starts at 4:30 MTAC Tournament at Harpeth begins Saturday: Boys play at 11:15 Girls play at 3:00 Band students, please remember to bring your instrument back to school on Tuesday. We will play in class. Mrs. Roberts will offer math tutoring on Tuesday and Thursday this week from 3 to 4. Have a fantastic week everyone!
