About Me
Hi! My name is Becky Haney and this is my 4th year teaching Algebra 1 and Math 8 at HMS. I am so excited to be a part of the 8th grade team. Previously, I spent five years teaching Math 3 at CCCHS and two years teaching 6th and 7th grade math at Wright Middle School in Nashville.
I am originally from upstate New York where I got my B.A. in Mathematics and Middle and Secondary Math Education. Upon graduating I moved to Florida to work at Walt Disney World. I worked as a cast member at Peter Pan's Flight and It's a Small World. I then moved to Nashville to complete my M.Ed. at Vanderbilt University.
While at Vanderbilt I met my husband and we now have 2 rambunctious boys. In my free time I like to sleep. 🙂 I also enjoy reading, baking, and binge watching reality tv.
