About me

Mrs. Melton has been teaching in Cheatham County since 1997. She began her career at Pegram Elementary School, spending 1 year there before moving to Harpeth Middle. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and a Masters of Education in Instructional Leadership, both from Lipscomb University. She is a mother of 2, and grandmother, and is "owned" by 2 Cardigan Welsh Corgis. She likes to read, listen to music, play with her grandson, and hang out with family and friends. She also likes to watch crime shows, with her favorites being NCIS, FBI, FBI: Most Wanted, and any and all reruns of Criminal Minds.
