About Me

This is Mrs. Dawn Green's 23rd year teaching in Cheatham County. She is  currently a 6th grade ELA teacher- teaching what she loves!  Mrs. Green hopes to instill a love of reading that will last a lifetime. She believes that if a child does not enjoy reading for pleasure- he/she just hasn't found the RIGHT book! Mrs. Green is blessed to be a part of the HMS family. When she is not at school, she enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, reading, playing with her dog, and creating specialty cookies with her best friend.
